About these terms
These terms apply to the Routine Plus app and routineplus.app. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using them. Questions can be sent to support@routineplus.app.
Using the app
Routine Plus helps you plan tasks, build habits, and review personal progress. You may use it for lawful personal purposes. Do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service to violate another person’s rights.
Trial, Free plan, and Premium
Routine Plus provides 16 days of full feature access from the app’s recorded trial start. The trial does not start a paid subscription by itself. Once it ends, the Free plan allows up to 3 active habits and unlimited tasks; Analytics and certain advanced options are unavailable, including categories and reminders when creating entries, Split Home by type, Group completed items, and manual backup export/import. Premium restores access to those features and removes the habit limit while an eligible subscription is active. Features and limits are described in the app and may change in future versions; existing local entries are not automatically deleted solely because full access ends.
Premium subscriptions and billing
Premium is offered as monthly and annual subscription options through Google Play when available on your device. The price, currency, billing interval, taxes, and any applicable offer are shown in Google Play before you confirm a purchase. Google Play handles payments, renewals, cancellation, and eligible refunds under its terms and applicable law. Unless canceled, a recurring subscription renews according to the terms shown at checkout. You can cancel through Google Play subscriptions; uninstalling the app does not cancel it. If you cancel, Premium generally remains available until the end of the paid period. Use the app’s Restore purchases option if access does not appear. The app may require periodic Google Play entitlement checks; short offline access can rely on a recent local entitlement record.
Manual backup and restore
Export and import are available only during the 16-day full-access period or with an active Premium subscription. Export creates a user-managed, unencrypted .routineplus file containing local activity and selected settings. Keep it secure and verify its destination before sharing. Importing a valid file after confirmation replaces the corresponding tasks, habits, history, rewards, and supported settings on the device; it does not transfer Premium status or restart the trial. Keep an additional copy before restoring and use files you trust. Compatibility and successful restoration cannot be guaranteed for every file or app version.
Your content and local data
You retain ownership of the tasks, habits, and other content you enter. You are responsible for that content and for securing your device and backup files. Activity is stored locally; there is no developer-operated cloud synchronization. Uninstalling, clearing app data, or losing a device may cause data loss. Device-platform backups may be available depending on your settings; manual export and import require trial or Premium access.
Reminders and progress
Notifications depend on device permissions, operating system restrictions, time settings, and battery management. Delivery is not guaranteed. Routine Plus is not intended for emergency or safety-critical reminders. Scores, progress indicators, and recommendations are productivity aids and do not guarantee any particular outcome.
Virtual rewards
Coins, stars, diamonds, levels, and challenges are in-app motivational features. They do not represent money, a financial account, or a promise of payment or redeemable value. Rules and availability may change as the app evolves.
Intellectual property
Routine Plus branding, software, and original website content are protected by applicable intellectual property law. These terms permit ordinary use of the app and website; they do not transfer ownership of those materials. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses.
Availability and changes
Features may be updated, changed, or discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device or operating system. App distribution platforms and other third-party services have their own terms.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app and website are provided as available without guarantees that they will be error-free or meet every requirement. Liability is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes mandatory consumer rights.
Ending use and updates to these terms
You may stop using the app or website at any time. Uninstalling does not cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel it through Google Play if you do not want future renewal. Manage local data, exported files, and platform backups separately if you wish to remove your information. We may update these terms for product or legal changes and will post the updated version here.
